A photographer website you actually own

Singletrack Sites is a platform built for photographers who want a fast, beautiful site without monthly platform fees, plugins to manage, or themes to buy. Mobile works perfectly with zero work.

Founding Photographer Pricing

The site you build today should still be yours in ten years

Most photographers are renting their website. You pay every month, and the moment you stop, your site disappears.

Or you're on a builder that changes its templates, breaks your layout, and tells you to rebuild from scratch.

Or you're on WordPress, where every plugin is one update away from breaking something, and the person who originally built it has moved on.

There’s a different way to do this.

What you get

A custom photographer website built on Singletrack Sites, a modern platform designed for one job: getting your work in front of clients fast, on a site that's yours.

Leave any time and the code comes with you. The content is always yours. The hosting runs on Cloudflare, which powers more than 20% of the entire internet, on a plan that is free for sites your size.

You edit your site through Sanity, a clean visual editor where you click on a section and change it. No plugins. No page builder battling itself. No mobile view that breaks the second you touch anything.

Your site keeps running without monthly payments.

The name comes from singletrack, the narrow trail you ride on a mountain bike. One clear path, no clutter. That's the platform.

Why photographers are switching

Mobile that just works

You should not have to write HTML to fix your mobile site. You should not have to ask ChatGPT for the right code to plug into a page builder. You should not have to redesign every section twice.

Every section on Singletrack Sites is mobile-optimized out of the box. You build it once. It works everywhere.

“I can't tell you how huge that is. How many times I have worked things around in Pixieset. I'm like, okay, it looks great, and then I click and I'm like, how did that get below the picture?”

— Photographer on a recent demo call

Fast. Like, top 2% of the internet fast.

Most photography sites are slow. A recent review of 100+ of the world's top photographer websites found that only 6% scored "fast" on mobile in Google's PageSpeed Insights.

Sites built on Singletrack Sites typically score 98 out of 100. That puts them in the top 2% of every website on the internet for speed.

Images auto-optimize when you upload them. The site is served as static HTML, which means it loads instantly and stays loaded.

“It's a way faster loading time than my other one. That's the biggest difference.”

— Carla Jacobson, Coola Creative

SEO is built in, not bolted on

Schema markup is automatic. Per-page SEO titles and descriptions are right there in the editor. H1 tags are handled correctly so you can't accidentally use five of them on one page. URL structure is preserved during migration so you don't lose your existing Google rankings.

I have been doing SEO for photographers for over a decade. The way most platforms handle it is messy. This one is clean.

You won't break it

Every section is a pre-built block. You can drag them around. You can add new ones. You can change colors, fonts, and layouts. You can do all of this while watching the site update live in front of you.

What you cannot do is break it. The structure is locked in a way that keeps you safe from yourself.

Migration without rebuilding from scratch

The single most common reason photographers stay stuck on a platform they hate: switching means rebuilding everything.

When you move to Singletrack Sites, AI pulls your existing content into the new site for you. Blog posts, about page text, testimonials, gallery images. You start with your work already in place, not a blank canvas.

If you want a full hands-on migration with every page rebuilt to match exactly, that's available as an add-on.

See it in action

These are two live demos — one family photographer, one pet photographer. They're examples, not limits. Singletrack Sites works for any photography niche — weddings, newborns, seniors, real estate, brand, product — with the galleries, blog, and SEO every niche needs. Your niche, your style, the same fast foundation.

What it actually costs

Typical photographer platform Singletrack Sites
Initial build $0 to $900 (template) $800 $600 (founding photographer)
Monthly platform fee $20 to $80 $0
Hosting Included or extra Free (Cloudflare)
SEO plugin $100 to $200/year Built in
Security plugin $100 to $120/year Not needed
Gallery plugin $50 to $150/year Built in
10-year total $3,600 to $9,000+ $600 + optional $100/year care plan

The care plan is included for your first year. After that, $100/year covers new features, bug fixes, and ongoing platform maintenance (keeping Sanity, Astro, and Cloudflare integrations current as those services evolve). Your live site keeps running whether you renew or not — but most photographers renew so the editor stays smooth without periodic developer work.

Founding photographer pricing is locked in for the first 20 photographers only. After those slots fill, the price goes to $750. There is no other catch. The platform is the same. The support is the same. The only difference is that you got in early.

“What happens if you disappear?”

Every photographer asks this. It's a fair question.

Your site lives on your own Cloudflare account. The code is open and standard. Any web developer with basic skills can pick it up and keep it going. Handoff documentation is already in the code.

Even if Sanity, the tool you use to edit, ever shut down, your live site would keep running on Cloudflare exactly as it is. You would lose the ability to make changes through the visual editor until a developer wired up a new one, but the site itself would never go dark.

This is the part most platforms cannot offer. On Squarespace or ShowIt or Pixieset, the day you stop paying is the day your site disappears. Here, you're never locked out — and if you ever leave, the code is yours to take.

“Even if the back-end goes down, I still have a website.”

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be tech-savvy to use this?

If you can use Pixieset, Squarespace, or ShowIt, you can use Singletrack Sites. The editor is visual. You click on a section and change it. You drag sections to reorder them. There's no code involved on your end.

The initial setup does have a few technical steps because you're creating accounts on Cloudflare and Sanity and giving me admin access. I send you a Loom walkthrough video so you're not guessing. After setup, you don't have to think about any of it.

Why is it called Singletrack Sites?

Singletrack is the narrow trail you ride on a mountain bike. One clear path, no clutter. That's the platform. Most website builders give you 50 ways to do everything and you end up fighting the tool. Singletrack Sites gives you the right blocks, in the right structure, and gets out of your way.

The name also ties into the rest of my business. My LLC is Singletrack Digital. My SEO business is Singletrack SEO. The platform is the next thing in that family.

What happens if you stop working on this platform?

Your site keeps running. It lives on your own Cloudflare account, hosted as static HTML. There's no recurring dependency on me to keep it online. If something breaks years from now, any web developer can pick up the code and keep it going. Handoff documentation is already in the codebase.

Can you migrate my existing blog posts and SEO?

Yes. AI handles most of the content migration: blog posts, about text, testimonials, and gallery images get pulled into the new site automatically. I personally handle the SEO side: URL structure preservation, redirects where needed, schema, and the actual domain switchover so your existing rankings carry over.

If you want a full hands-on migration where every page is rebuilt to match your existing site exactly, that's available as an add-on.

How is this different from Squarespace, ShowIt, or Pixieset?

Three real differences:

You're never locked out. With Squarespace, ShowIt, or Pixieset, the day you stop paying is the day your site disappears. With Singletrack Sites, your site runs in your own account, and if you ever end the care plan, the code is yours to keep.

No monthly platform fees. Most photographer platforms charge $20 to $80/month, every month, forever. Singletrack Sites is a one-time fee. There's an optional $100/year care plan after your first year for ongoing platform maintenance, but the live site keeps running with or without it.

Mobile actually works. On most platforms, you build your site on desktop and then fight to make the mobile version look right. Singletrack Sites is mobile-optimized at the section level. You build it once.

What does the $100/year care plan actually cover?

The care plan keeps your platform maintained. That covers new features I ship, bug fixes, dependency updates (Sanity, Astro, and Cloudflare all evolve — I keep your site current with them so the editor and build pipeline don't degrade), and direct access to me for questions.

Without it, your live site keeps running on Cloudflare indefinitely — it's static HTML, it doesn't depend on me. The editor still works the day you cancel and for a while after. But the editor and build pipeline depend on third-party platforms that change over time, so you'll likely need a maintenance pass from me or another developer every year or two to keep editing smooth. Most photographers renew so they don't have to think about it.

Get in touch

The first step is just a conversation, not a sales pitch. I want to know what you're using now, what's frustrating you, and whether Singletrack Sites actually solves it for you. Sometimes the answer is yes. Sometimes it's not the right fit, and I'll tell you that too.

Send me a message with a bit about your current setup, and I'll get back to you within one business day to set up a time to talk.
